The Information-Processing Cycle

This is made up of four steps:

Input- Any data you physically input into the computer. Through using hardware such as the keyboard or mouse (there are more.)

Processing- The CPU receives and coverts your input data to information. Information from the CPU is what the computer needs to output something back to your computer screen.

Output- Whatever necessary device within the computer receives the information and does its job, producing the effect on your computer screen.

Storage- If need be you can save it to your hard drive, or other storage devices.
